About STC
Our vision
Our outlook to the charitable work we do is very simple yet powerful. Serving The Creation, that’s what we do. Be that to aid the need of a struggling elderly member amongst our community with general daily chores or to answer the call of a starving nation afflicted by extreme poverty. STC looks upon all creation with tenderness and love with a view to open up a horizon of hope, to let a shaft of light break through the heaviest clouds and to bring the warmth of happiness!
In a world often driven by pride of domination, of possessions, manipulation and exploitation we are agents of mercy and believe that even the smallest acts of kindness will create a world in which peace shall flourish.
What we do
Since our inception, we have made some invaluable progress with our humanitarian work. Our primary aim has always been to look out for our own and to continuously address the needs within our localities. Hence, our work extends from helping the homeless and providing vital interventions amongst struggling families, to combating hungry homes via our foodbank services.
We entirely concur with the old expression that charity begins at home, however, it does not end there. We consider it a responsibility to reach out far, wide and beyond our shores to parts of the creation that are extremely underprivileged where people often find themselves in dire situations through personal misfortune or circumstances beyond their control. In recognising this STC provides lifesaving aid amidst major humanitarian catastrophes such as the one currently in Yemen.
